Needed a new number as I was getting loads of spam calls, wanted a number with a personal twist so I managed to get one that ended in my dog's birthday, arrived super quick and the process was easy. It was a pay as you go sim and it said to activate with £20 but that's only if you want that bundle, you actually only need to select £5, PAC number was received the same day as sim activation and by the next day my current provider had switched the numbers. I am very happy with my number .I asked the online chat to the company ,if it would be OK to port over from vodaphone to talk mobile .The person was really helpful and also offered help if I needed it after purchase .the number arrived within a couple of days ,plus the code for porting the number was attached to the sim card package. It only took several hours over night .and it ported perfectly.
